Marcus Swenson

Minneapolis, MN

Exploring systems, sound, and the architecture of perception.

About

I’ve lived in Minneapolis all my life. My first computer ran Windows 3.11, and within a few years I was taking towers apart to see how they worked.

My brain has very little patience for hidden magic or unnecessary abstraction. I like simple, deterministic systems where everything is documented and inspectable—which is how I ended up loving C and the OpenBSD ethos.

Off the keyboard, I’m teaching myself the basics of music production in FL Studio with an Arturia MiniLab 3. I’m inspired by raw, improvisational craft—watching creators like Ari @ Home live looping, Harry Mack freestyling off the cuff, or Miss Monique mixing melodic techno.

Late at night, you’ll usually find me reading about consciousness, psychedelics, and UAPs—always curious about how reality is wired and how little of it we actually see.
